My recent interests in somatic practices have guided my movement sourcing and choreographic exploration.

I am currently studying to become a Somatic Movement Educator in Body Mind Centering from Moving Within in Lorane, OR. I will obtain my certification in the summer of 2021.

Choreographically, my interests are in the effort and rawness that come with being a human. I feel myself pulled toward the roughness and awkwardness of exchanges and dilemmas that we stumble upon as we run the relationship gamut. I find startling beauty in the difficulty, the revealing of what it takes, the exertion of force needed, to get through all of life's treachery. I want to create work that can pull the rug out from under my audiences; finding the sweetness and satisfaction of that first bite of the apple before we find that worm burrowed inside.
